SF FALL MINI SESSIONS

We are excited to offer one day of mini sessions in San Francisco, CA this October 17th, and this year we are providing an online sign-up link for ease of scheduling.

We’ll be using a beautiful and accessible location near Crissy Field. This year's mini sessions will be 20 minutes in length - enough time to get that hero family portrait for your 2026 holiday cards, as well as a handful of individual portraits to help record this moment in your lives. (Limited spots available — sessions are booked on a first come, first serve basis.)

FAQ

What about the weather?

A couple of days before your portrait session, we will check in with you to confirm the details. If the weather forecast looks iffy, we will reach out to you to discuss shifting around the schedule.

What time of day works best for photos?

The easiest time for lighting is almost always in the early morning or late afternoon/early evening. Because the sun is low, the light is softer and more flattering. Also, if the weather is cloudy/overcast, mid-day lighting is much less of an issue.

What should we wear?

We know you will be doing your part to have yourself and everyone put together and perhaps you want to plan a fully or semi coordinated wardrobe (or just...clean), and we know that can be a big task! We are happy to help guide you if you have specific questions, but we tend to think that whatever feels natural for you and your family is best. (When in doubt, layers, textures and neutral or muted colors generally always photograph well, but truly, there are no real rules!) We should also note that depending on how the weather turns out and the location we decide on, dressing appropriately for the conditions makes sense for the pictures as well. It is important so that you all feel comfortable and have a fun afternoon as a family, and we'll handle the rest!
