2026 Maternity & Newborn Portrait Packages & Pricing

MATERNITY SESSION
With many of our clients, a maternity session is often a concept that requires a little encouragement, but we know from personal experience that it's a time in your lives that's incredibly worth capturing in a thoughtful way.
Our maternity sessions are $550 for a 45 to 60 minute session, and includes travel within ~50 miles of Concord MA. This package includes a minimum of 50 fully edited, full resolution images delivered through an online gallery.
Home is great for maternity sessions, especially if we're in the chilly months, but we also always love a beautiful outdoor location. Usually moms-to-be consider somewhere between 30-36 weeks to be a good time for a maternity session, but really it's whenever the client feels most comfortable.
NEWBORN SESSION
Our standard local newborn session is 60 to 90 minutes at $650, and includes delivery of 50-60 fully edited, full resolution images, through an online gallery.
This slightly longer session allows time for a small breaks, outfit/diaper changes, feedings etc. We've done newborn photos at various stages of early babyhood and it's really all adorable, but the sleepy "new newborn" photos are best done within the first week or two.
You can book your due date for now, then plan to notify us when baby arrives (or is almost here) and we can work with you to “reschedule” your session for the official date.
DOUBLE NEWBORN SESSION
We also offer a “best of both worlds” scenario where you can split up your newborn session into two separate 45-minute sessions priced together at $850. We will deliver a minimum of 70 fully edited, full resolution images total.
The first session should take place within the first 10 days to get those sleepy new-newborn photos, or if would like to check announcement cards off the list ASAP! Then the second part should be booked a few weeks later for a slightly more family-forward session, with the opportunity to have a little more activity and eye contact, or simply to give yourself some more time before photos!
Investment & Delivery
PAYMENT
Upon booking your portait session through our online form, you will be required to make a full payment up front, which will include a non-refundable deposit of $250. We accept credit card payments, Venmo, or Zelle. Send us an email if you have any questions.
IMAGE DELIVERY
We will have your fully edited, print-ready photos ready within three weeks after our session via a personal, password protected online gallery (like this one). From there you can view, download, share, or order print products through us and our trusted printer. You are also welcome to send your full size digital files your own preferred lab if you wish. You have full printing rights to these digital images.
FAQ
What time of day is best for photos?
Generally for portraits, we suggest late in the day for the lowest, softest light possible - but if we are mostly indoors, any time of the day is doable. We will look to photograph in the room with the best natural light, so if there's a time of day when the baby's room is brightest that could be the right time. (Also, if there's a best time for older siblings, we can take that into account too!)
What props or items do we need?
As far as blankets, outfits and props, natural whites and organic colors are great. We are not terribly into props for prop's sake but if you have an item you are excited about using, we're all for that! The nursery and the crib are obvious backdrops, but if those aren’t quite ready, we can often just find a nicely lit corner of the house and use a bassinet or blanket placed on a dock-a-tot. We also love incorporating sentimental items like a special quilt or hat, but you certainly don't “need" anything.
What should we wear?
We are happy to help guide you if you have specific questions, but we tend to think that whatever feels natural for you and your family is best. When in doubt, layers, textures and neutral or muted colors generally always photograph well, but truly, there are no real rules!
